Associate Director

As Associate Director Andrews’ role involves working closely with all employees ensuring projects are met and work is programmed to meet client deadlines.

Originating from an installation background, Andrew uses his practical skills & knowledge to focus on the finer details to ensure a seamless design and aid the installation process. Andrew has experience ranging from the small & large residential sites, commercial, health care and educational sectors with both new builds & refurbishment projects.

He also head of QA for the practice formulating and implementing procedures to ensure the highest quality of output.

As an Associate Director Andrew plays a key role in future work and client liaising whilst also helping out other members in the company to gain experience and knowledge of the industry.

Education Background

  • Andrew attended Queensmead Secondary school in Middlesex where he grew up completing his GCSEs.

  • Andrew went to the College of North West London where he completed a full 2330 AM2 Advanced Electricians Apprenticeship Scheme, whilst being monitored closely under a JTL scheme in 2008.

  • Andrew went to College of North West London where he completed his HNC in electrical and building services engineering in 2014.

  • Andrew joined CIBSE whilst studying at the College of north west London. More recently Andrew has transferred his membership over to the IET where he is currently MIET..

Professional Experience

  • Andrew worked for an Electrical Contractor as an Electrician whilst completing his apprenticeship
    2005-2010.

  • Between 2010 and 2012 Andrew worked self-employed as an Electrician working on numerous installation projects throughout the south of England.

  • Andrew joined a London consultancy in 2012 whilst studying his HNC he was designing numerous projects for UCL.

  • Andrew joined AWA as an Intermediate Electrical Engineer in 2013, promoted to Senior Electrical
    Engineer and Associate Engineer roles and more recently promoted to Associate Director in 2022.

Hobbies & Interests

  • Andrew is a keen sports fan and enjoys most sports weather playing or just watching.

  • Recently Andrew has completed his FA playmakers entry level course and is currently a coach for his local U7 football team which he is looking forward to doing at weekends.

  • Andrew loves spending time with family especially day trips to theme parks and zoos and also enjoys holidaying in both the UK and Abroad with family when he can.
