Daniel Moynihan

Director

Daniel drives AWA’s expansion objectives and is responsible for the delivery of all financial and commercial targets.

From business development and winning new projects, preparing detailed client briefs and fee proposals, to team briefing and data analysis, ensuring all output aligns with varying project briefs and contractual arrangements.

What’s more, Daniel’s role involves leading several internal focuses, maintaining a safe and healthy working environment, and generating strong working relationships with affiliated project teams.

Education Background

  • Daniel grew up in Colchester where he attended Colchester Institute, Colchester Sixth Form College & Teeside University.

  • Daniel completed various electrical qualifications over the years in all areas of electronics and electrical engineering.

  • Daniel has overseen electronic labs, test &
    commissioning facilities, had practical experience, owned a successful electrical contractors, managed projects and designed substations for distribution
    network operators.

  • Daniel has various electrical/electronic qualifications including being a member of the Institute of Engineering & Technology (IET).

Professional Experience

  • Daniel has a wealth of experience in all sectors from
    Residential, Commercial & Industrial projects working from pre-planning to working drawings.    .

  • Daniel has successfully completed projects for Airports, Power stations, Primary and secondary substations, TV and film Studios, Office Blocks, Community Centres, Schools, Nurseries, Assisted living and award-winning Regenerative Schemes..

Hobbies & Interests

  • Daniel has a very keen interest in Golf, as a member of his local golf course Daniel spends many early mornings improving his swing.

  • Daniel loves sport, whether its football, cycling or swimming, keeping fit is something Daniel loves to do.

  • In his spare time after a long day at work Daniel loves playing his PRS guitar.
