Residential development across two buildings, two houses and seven flats surrounded by a landscaped area.
AWA have been appointed as part of the design team to provide mechanical & electrical design services to this project.
As part of our responsibilities for this project AWA undertook design:
Incoming services design and co-ordination with the building structure and drainage.
Heating & cooling is provided with the use of heat pumps.
External lighting around the development is provided using the latest technology LED light fittings.
The project furthered its green credentials with the use of photovoltaic panels on the roof and rainwater harvesting systems for the houses.
All of the design contributed towards meeting the Code for Sustainable Homes level 3 required by the local planning authority with the development designed with the aim to extend this and achieve level 4.
