We are pleased to announce that Senior Engineers Robert Heppleston, James Watson and Andrew Wicks have been promoted to Principal Engineers and Martyn Mead promoted to Senior Engineer. These promotions are a recognition of their hard work over the past couple of years, reflect our long-standing commitment to developing our internal talent and ensure everyone is fulfilling their career ambitions. Congratulations to them all!

The expansion of the senior team is part of the progress we are making and are instrumental in the successful delivery of many future projects.

Chris Rogers & Matthew Gill who were working within our CAD/Revit team have now moved into the Design Engineering side of the business with Chris joining the Electrical team & Matthew the Mechanical team, they have both started an HNC in Building Services Engineering at Westminster College and we wish them all the luck in their further education.

As we do every year, we try to encourage young students to join AWA and are active at the local career’s fairs/school events, Jamie Lovelock has joined AWA from a local school after finishing year 11 and has since enrolled on a Construction & Built Environment course at a local college 1 day a week whilst learning on the job at AWA.

Jamie will be learning across all sectors of the company starting off in the CAD department. At AWA we offer 3 different progression and education paths at AWA. We offer students the opportunity to join us straight from Year 11 or Year 13 to complete either a BTEC Diploma, HNC or degree at an accredited University.
